Brian R Jones earned his BFA from Alfred University and MFA from Southern Methodist University. He has taught on the university level and at workshops throughout the country. One of his great joys is watching people learn to use their hands and brains in new ways through clay.
It is an 800 sq. ft. ceramic studio, so it doesn’t look like a classroom. There is equipment, tools, and big tables. A metal shelf holds the raw materials that we use to make our clay and glazes. There are a lot of pots! We welcome newcomers and those who have wanted to get back to clay for so long. When the studio is alive with learning and activity you can hear it whirring from outside.
